Mission

On June 5, 2013, a collaboration agreement was signed in Vitoria-Gasteiz between the General Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country and the University of the Basque Country/EuskalHerriko Unibertsitatea for the creation, development and maintenance of a Cultural Landscapes and Heritage Chair.

Within the framework of training and research, the Chair promotes the renewal of the conceptual bases of planning by promoting the overall assessment of the elements that articulate landscapes.

Its basic aim is to strengthen the coordination and overall management of the cultural, natural and immaterial heritage and social participation processes.
